Many couple will show their photos from baby to current in wedding, but every time I attend wedding I felt that this part is the most boring part. So I did not wish my wedding to have this too, start the wedding dinner early better right? haha
Most of the couple will also show the actual day video of the day when the groom kana sabo by the Jie Mei. I also didn't have that because I don't really have a big group of jie mei & brother and our games are the simple ones.
So the only thing that we wanted to show is an animation of "how we met and how we become a couple". I felt that this is more meaningful to us and it's our story that we can see in the future. It's our memories it's our story.
Found a few company online that does the job and decided to confirm coffee and tea. The process of the animation is actually very easy, they send us a format for us to draft our story out. Story line is draft by me and approve by hubby. After which they will call you and go through the story line again and ask more question to understand the story better. After that they will send us the draft design of the cartoon character used in the animation....
1st draft was rejected as the wedding cartoon I was wearing spec but the actual night I will not be wearing spec ma. Although I always wear spec and it looks much more like me with it but the wedding day I will not be wearing spec, so I requested to remove the spec.
After final draft is confirmed they then start working the animation, after they have done the 1st draft of the animation video they will upload to their website and send you the link for approval. We did few changes here and there then we approve the video. So the whole process is only through email and phone call and you do not need to give going down to the company. We both love the final animation video and it touches our heart every time we see it.

All thanks to my colleague Crystal that offer to help me get her parents to print my wedding card. She also helped me in the designing part hahaha the fussy me keep changing here and there. But the final pieces is nice and we love it.

I actually did quite a lot of homework for the pre-wedding before the shoot, look at quite a lot of bridal magazine and a lot of website to see what kind of style I will like. Currently popular is the Korean style wedding shoot of cos we are not going to spend that kind of money to take our photos oversea. So we need to add in some elements to make it looks as it is taken oversea...that is kind of tough and also need to depends on the photographer.
For the indoor shoot, I have seen the studio backdrops and I think it's quite safe as it's a new studio so everything is still quite "new". I added props to make our shoot more interesting, I base on the outfits that I have chosen to add on props to style it. Gotten the nerdy specs for my Tiffany color dress so have a cutie look. Gotten books that we have to read in our marriage life or show that we will work hard together for future and will grow old together hand in hand. Gotten a very nice heart shape that I brought for my wedding reception area think it will look nice for the shoot too.

For outdoor shoot, the important part is location. How big is Singapore? So many people take photo at botanic garden so many people take photo at Fullerton hotel, so many people take photo at Singapore flyer...where is new where is nice? I actually did not have a very hard time finding location for the shoot. Went to a few place for test shoot with hubby before and I also saw a cafe in a magazine and I think it looks nice. Grace went there with me and ask approval from boss to allow us to shoot for my wedding album, boss of the cafe is nice enough and given us the approval. I also used some props for our outdoor shoot, one of them is a guitar that belongs to my Sis and one of them is the old camera that my dad gave me. This 2 props plays a very important in our outdoor shoot too and it adds a very nice effect to it.

Not to forget nice bridal nails also plays a very important part in the shoot, I am also lucky enough that my sister is doing it for me FOC. hahaha Who else can I trust to do my nails but Blissful Nails? Opps too hard sell sorry.

Move the 嫁妆 to hubby's place today. There's still a lot of my other stuffs have not moved over, my duties for this week shall be packing all my things to bring over to his place...that's going to be so difficult! So what are the 嫁妆...
- Tea set, to be used to serve tea to the groom’s parents and elders on the wedding day to represent the couple’s gratitude and respect for their elders
- Baby off-spring bucket set 子孙桶 (set of baby potty, bathtub, face washbasin in red) to bless the couple with healthy babies
- Pair of bedside lamps (子孙登 ZiSunDeng) for healthy offspring
- 2 pairs of wooden clogs or bedroom slippers to represent smooth career advancement
- A sewing kit to represent the bride’s virtues and her ability to care for her husband and family
- Auspicious ruler to symbolize the bride’s ability to manage the household and to bless the couple with great wealth
- Wedding umbrella to represent the bride’s parents hope that their daughter will be well cared for with a big house to live in, and to ward off any inauspicious or clashing elements
- Set of 2 bowls, spoon, chopsticks and cup to represent abundance of food and drinks, good fortune and prosperity.
Additional Mom gave me a set of cookware so that I can use in the future.
- Other items include bed sheets, pillows, bolsters, comforter, blankets, toothpaste, toothbrushes, mirror, comb, towels and new clothing.

This is the very 1st Wedding Gift received, she couldn't attend my wedding as her cousin is also having her wedding done on the same day. Met her yesterday, she gave me a wedding gift. Really very nice of her. It's a very nice display love bird make of 24K Gold plated & made with SPECTRA Crystal. It really look very very nice! Love it so much. :)

Finally we got this done...there's so many things to do for the big day. This is quite a headache one as there's a lot of stuff you need to buy of cos not forgetting my 嫁妆 stuff as well. So many of the stuff that we don't quite understand why is there a need to buy but due to the tradition we have to follow.

Went to the bridal shop today to select the gown for my actual day, yes our bridal shop allow us to select different gown as the one I wear for my bridal shoot. Which is a good thing I felt as it allows me to try more different & nice design! I actually gain a few KG this 2 weeks hahaha while other brides are working real hard in losing weight I am the opposite..LOL!
As I was trying the gown the designer, Won, who has been serving me since day 1 told me secretly that the whole group of their team is resigning! Was so shock to hear the news as they have changed the management here so many of the staff have left...which I felt so upset about it as they have so far given me quite a good experience here. The senior designer who have signed our package have also left the bridal shop so many of the old staff have also left. So is our photographer who have took our wedding photo album...Won is also leaving the company tomorrow so for our actual day stuff new staff will assist. That is the reason why we were called here to select my actual day gown as they wish to finish off as many of their previous client as possible. I would really love to Thanks the group that have helped me since my ROM and they really have made my preparation for my day experience a good one.
Won assisted me today with the selection and I guess this will be the last day I going to see her. All thanks to her I get to try on many of their new gowns even today I found "the one" actual day gown which I am only the 2nd person who have tried it. Really love that gown after I wear it and it really give the feeling of "yes this is the one". Hubby like it too!
We also have collected our wedding albums & selected our wedding flowers now is only left with the actual day stuff. Cross my fingers as now the whole team have changed. Hope everything will be smooth and good.
